Boracay is a small island in the Philippines, located south of Manila and near the northwestern tip of Panay Island in the Western Visayas region. It is made up of the barangays of Manoc-Manoc, Balabag, and Yapak in the municipality of Malay, Aklan Province. Boracay is widely known as one of the world’s top destinations for relaxation. MAIN TOURIST ATTRACTIONS • White Beach – The island’s most famous stretch of white sand, known for crystal-clear waters, sunsets, and vibrant nightlife. • Puka Beach – A quieter beach noted for its natural, less-developed setting and puka shells. • Baling Hai Beach – A secluded cove just north of Diniwid Beach, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and dining in a peaceful, relaxed environment. • Bulabog Beach – A popular spot on the island’s eastern side, especially known for watersports such as kitesurfing and windsurfing. • The Bat Cave – Located on the western end of the island and reached by rough dirt roads, this cave has a rocky entrance and steep, uneven terrain inside, and is home to colonies of bats.
